NUTRITIONAL THERAPIST
MY STORY
I remember the day I was diagnosed with lymphoma- a word I hadn’t heard before. It was the same night as my daughter’s first day at school. Worried sick, I spent all night researching lymphoma on the NHS website. Deep down, I knew this had something to do with my diet and stress. I was drinking too much coffee all the day and ate high carbohydrates diet. I had already lost my mum to cancer. She suffered from chronic depression and stress.
I wanted desperately to live for my daughter. I will never forget the day the consultant told me that I was the strongest person he had ever met. I knew though that he fully expected this wouldn’t turn out well. But I didn’t feel this way; I actually feel blessed this happened to me and that it has inspired me to study nutrition.
It was amazing how nutrition has helped me; I have sorted out my digestion, stress and anxiety levels and I’m symptoms free now and I feel much healthier than before.
Since then I decided to use my nutrition knowledge to help people who struggles with digestive issues to retain their health and vitality.
I’m a Registered qualified Nutritional Therapist a member of the CNHC -Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council. I’m also a member of NNA (Naturopathic Nutrition Association) and Data protection ICO. (information commissioner’s Office).
I keep up to date with recent studies and researches and I attend the Continuing Professional Development training program.
